A Fully Managed Process Built Around You
Once you become a GetBoardwise client, you move into our onboarding process.
This is where we take the time to understand who you are, what you have done, what you care about and what kind of opportunities you want to create.
Every campaign is built around the individual.
- Your experience
- Your target sectors.
- Your preferred company sizes.
- Your ideal locations
- Your tone of voice.
- Your ambitions.
- Your value.
Nothing goes live until it has been shaped around you and approved by you.

STEP
Step 1: Your Onboarding
The first stage is onboarding. You will work with our onboarding team and campaign managers to define the foundations of your campaign. This includes completing a detailed preference form and discussing the types of opportunities you want to create.
We will look at:
- Industries you want to target
- Company sizes
- Business stages
- Locations
- Types of organisations
- Your ambitions.
- Your value.
- Decision makers
- Opportunity types
- Your experience and value add
This stage typically takes place over the first two to three weeks and ensures your campaign is built on the right foundations.

Step 2: Defining Your Target Audience
Once your preferences are clear, we work with you to confirm exactly what your ideal target audience looks like.
This is where we get into the details.
- What kind of businesses do you want to work with?
- Where are they based?
- What size are they?
- What sectors are most relevant?
- What types of challenges are they likely to be facing?
Only once you are happy with the direction do we move into audience building.

Step 3: Building Your Audience
Your campaign is then passed to our Audience Building Team.
Their role is to identify the organisations and decision makers most relevant to your goals. The first audience build typically includes 500 contacts. These are then shared with you through our platform. Inside the platform, you will be able to review every business we have selected.
You will see:
- What the business does
- Why we have chosen it
- Company size
- Website
- Location
- Relevant context
- Decision maker details
You can approve or decline contacts before the campaign moves forward.
This gives you full visibility and control over who we approach.

Step 4: Creating Your Messaging
Once your audience has been approved, we begin building the messaging approach.
This is not generic outreach.
Every message is created around you, your experience and the business being approached. The tone can be strategic, professional, more personal, more direct or more conversational depending on what feels right for you. The important thing is that it sounds like you.
We work with you to shape the messaging so it reflects your voice, your value and the type of conversation you want to create. Every message is approved before it goes live.

Step 5: Launching Your Campaign
Once your audience and messaging are approved, your campaign goes live. Our team manages the daily campaign activity behind the scenes. When people connect, we send the tailored follow up messaging.
When conversations develop, you monitor your LinkedIn inbox and let us know when someone wants to speak with you.
At this stage, your time commitment is relatively low. You focus on the conversations. We focus on creating them.

Step 6: Preparing You For Opportunities
When a meeting or opportunity appears, we support you through the next stage.
Our team can prepare supporting documentation, business briefs and interview preparation guides to help you understand the organisation, the opportunity and how to approach the conversation.
You can also sit down with an ICF qualified coach ahead of important meetings to prepare properly and make sure you feel confident going into the discussion. Our role is not simply to create introductions. It is to help you make the most of the opportunities that come from them.

Step 7: Ongoing Campaign Support
Throughout the campaign, you will continue working with our team.
Your campaign managers and client success team will help monitor progress, review responses, refine the approach and support you as opportunities emerge. Campaigns typically run between four and twelve months, depending on your goals, target market and the level of support required.
The objective is always the same. To create meaningful conversations with organisations that can benefit from your expertise.
What Happens On The Discovery Session?
Before becoming a client, the first step is a complimentary Discovery Session. This call typically lasts around 30 minutes.
During the session, we will find out who you are, what you do, what kind of opportunities you are interested in and whether GetBoardwise is the right fit. We will also show you relevant case studies from previous clients so you can understand how the process works in practice.
The aim is simple. To help both sides decide whether there is a good fit. No pressure. No obligation. Just a practical conversation about what you are looking to achieve and whether we can help.
One of the most important parts of our process is approval.
You approve the audience
You approve the contacts
You approve the messaging.
You approve the LinkedIn content.
Your campaign is built around your goals and your voice.
